Wind Electricity Without A Backyard Turbine

Kristi Neidhardt, Green Power Program Manager, Clean Currents, a local Green-e certified wind energy company. Electricity from wind is now cheaper than coal in our area for the first time, and can be delivered by BGE or Pepco. Say What? Learn how to make the switch, get the big picture, and learn more about a company that offsets operational emissions, purchases green products, provides green employee benefits, etc.

"350" International Day of Action


Saturday October 24th, 2009 Washington D.C.  Noon - 5 pm

GET ON THE BUS!  (One chartered bus from Baltimore, $16 a ticket, see below)

Join us from Baltimore to address the related issues of global warming pollution and poverty for a rally in Washington, DC at Malcolm X / Meridian Hill Park (16th St NW at Euclid Street) with music, cultural performers, bicycle rides, and speakers. 

We will then march to Lafayette Park where we will form a circle of hope around the White House to let President Obama and Congress know that we need them to step it up big time!
